Private Client Solicitor – Sutton Coldfield

This family-friendly high street firm based in Sutton Coldfield is seeking to appoint a Private Client Solicitor to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Solicitor with private client experience who is looking to manage a varied caseload in a supportive environment that values client service over and above meeting fee targets. 

You will handle a broad range of private client matters, providing expert advice to individuals and families while working closely with an experienced team.

Key Responsibilities

You will manage a varied private client caseload, including:

• Advising clients on wills, probate and estate administration matters
• Preparing applications for Grants of Probate and Letters of Administration
• Administering estates, including the collection and distribution of assets
• Advising on inheritance tax and estate planning
• Preparing and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Providing clear, practical advice tailored to each client’s individual circumstances

The role also involves building strong client relationships and delivering an exceptional standard of client care throughout the lifetime of each matter.

Requirements

To be considered, candidates must be a qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 12 months’ experience in probate and private client work. Strong technical knowledge of probate, estate administration and private client matters is essential, together with excellent communication, organisation and client care skills.
