If you’re a Corporate Solicitor with at least 4 years’ PQE looking for genuine progression, greater responsibility and the opportunity to become a key part of a growing practice, this could be the role you’ve been waiting for.

We’re recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded commercial law firm in Buckinghamshire that is expanding its Corporate team. The firm is looking for an ambitious solicitor who wants more than just another move, it is looking for someone who wants to build a long-term career, contribute to the firm’s continued growth and work towards a senior leadership role.

You’ll enjoy high-quality corporate work, direct client exposure and the opportunity to work alongside experienced lawyers in a collaborative and supportive environment, where your contribution will be recognised and rewarded.

The Opportunity

You’ll advise a broad range of businesses, entrepreneurs and investors on a variety of corporate matters, including:

• Mergers and acquisitions
• Company sales and acquisitions
• Shareholder and investment agreements
• Corporate restructures and reorganisations
• LLP agreements
• Corporate governance matters
• Business succession planning
• Corporate finance transactions
• Share incentive schemes and secured lending (experience beneficial but not essential)

You’ll take ownership of transactions from instruction through to completion, working closely with clients and professional advisers to deliver commercially focused solutions.

Who we are looking for

To be successful, you’ll ideally have:

• 4+ years’ PQE in Corporate Law
• Strong experience advising on mergers, acquisitions and general corporate transactions
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills
• The confidence to manage matters with an appropriate level of autonomy
• A commercial, pragmatic approach to client service
• An interest in business development and building long-term client relationships
• The ambition to develop your career within a growing and forward-thinking firm

Applicants should be based within a reasonable commuting distance of the office and enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues, while benefiting from some flexibility where appropriate.
