Private Client Paralegal – Rugeley

Are you a Private Client Paralegal or Will Writer who is looking to work 3-4 days or shorter hours over more days? 

A small but well-established and highly regarded high street firm in Rugeley is seeking an experienced Will Writer/Paralegal to join its friendly and supportive team on a part-time basis (3-4 days per week).

This opportunity would suit an individual who enjoys client-facing private client work within a professional yet personable environment and who is confident managing their own caseload independently.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing a varied caseload including:

• Wills
• Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
• General private client matters
• Conducting client meetings and taking instructions
• Drafting and progressing files from instruction through to completion
• Liaising with clients in a professional and empathetic manner
• Maintaining accurate file records and ensuring compliance procedures are followed

About You

The firm is looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience managing their own caseload of Wills and LPAs
• Is capable of working independently with minimal supervision
• Possesses strong client care and communication skills
• Is organised, efficient and detail-oriented
• Enjoys working as part of a small, close-knit team
• Has experience within a solicitors’ practice or professional will writing environment

A legal qualification would be advantageous but is not essential for candidates with relevant practical experience.
