Litigation Solicitor – Tamworth

An established and growing law firm is seeking a Civil & Commercial Litigation Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer with 1–5 years’ PQE to join its litigation team.

The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of civil and commercial litigation matters, providing commercially focused legal advice and delivering a high standard of client service.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of civil and commercial litigation matters
• Provide clear, practical and commercially focused legal advice
• Undertake legal research and remain up to date with relevant law and Court procedures
• Draft legal correspondence and documentation
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Progress cases efficiently, cost-effectively and in line with Firm procedures
• Meet annual fee-earning and billing targets
• Develop new business opportunities and cross-sell services where appropriate
• Maintain high professional and client service standards

Candidate Requirements

The ideal Civil & Commercial Litigation Solicitor/CILEX Lawyer will have:

• Qualification as a Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer
• 1–5 years’ PQE
• Experience in civil and/or commercial litigation
• Strong legal research, drafting and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong commercial awareness and client relationship skills
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail
• The ability to manage competing deadlines and work effectively under pressure
• Proficiency with legal case management systems and Microsoft Office
• A proactive, commercially minded and client-focused approach
• Flexibility regarding working hours where required
