Clinical Negligence Solicitor – Leeds

A leading claimant law firm is seeking an experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor (Grade A) to join its highly regarded team in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior lawyer looking to handle complex, high-value clinical negligence claims within a supportive and collaborative environment.

You will take full ownership of a challenging caseload, managing matters from initial instruction through to settlement or trial. Working closely with clients, medical experts, counsel and colleagues, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding outcomes while providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a complex clinical negligence caseload independently
• Develop case strategy and drive matters through to resolution
• Draft key legal documentation, including Letters of Claim and expert instructions
• Negotiate settlements and oversee litigation where required
• Provide technical support and mentoring to junior lawyers
• Contribute to team performance and financial objectives

Requirements

• 8+ years’ PQE (or equivalent experience) in Clinical Negligence
• Proven experience handling complex claimant clinical negligence matters
• Strong litigation, negotiation and drafting skills
• Excellent client care and stakeholder management abilities
• Commercially minded with strong organisational skills
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior team members
