Well-regarded offshore commercial law firm in the Cayman Islands is seeking a Financial Services Regulatory Solicitor/Barrister of 5 or more years’ PQE/Call. The team advises financial institutions, multinational corporations, insurers/reinsurers, technology companies, governments, regulators and other public authorities, asset managers, private equity sponsors, investment funds, administrators and other entities and individuals on regulatory and compliance matters, including all regulatory aspects of the formation, management, operation and termination of companies, partnerships and other vehicles in the Cayman Islands. The successful candidate will have experience as a Financial Services Regulatory lawyer with knowledge of: • licensing • registration and approval requirements • reporting and information exchange obligations • and, AML/CFT (countering the finance of terrorism)/CPF (counter-proliferation financing). You must be comfortable and competent handling significant client-facing workflow coupled with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
