The Role:

A leading private client practice in Gloucestershire is seeking an experienced Solicitor to join their senior team. This is a high-profile role for a Lawyer with 5+ years’ PQE who can manage complex estates, trusts, succession planning, and elderly client matters. The ideal candidate will have a track record in high-value estate administration, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to develop and maintain client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading complex estate planning, trust creation, and administration matters.
• Providing strategic advice on succession and tax planning for high-net-worth clients.
• Advising and supporting elderly or vulnerable clients, including powers of attorney and deputyships.
• Mentoring junior Lawyers and contributing to the development of the private client team.
• Representing clients in Court of Protection or other relevant proceedings.
• Contributing to business development and client relationship management.

Requirements:

• Qualified solicitor with 5+ years’ PQE in private client work.
• Demonstrable experience in high-value estate administration and trust matters.
• Confident client-facing and relationship management skills.
• Ability to mentor junior colleagues and support team growth.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to work independently on complex matters.
