Mental Health Solicitor

Experience for this Mental Health Solicitor role:

• Minimum of 5 years solid experience in Mental Health and have attained their Mental Health Scheme Accreditation
• Strong advocacy experience
• Representing clients detained under the Mental Health Act 1983
• Representing clients in managers’ hearings and renewal meetings in Primary Care Trusts
• Undertaking own advocacy at Tribunals and County Courts
• Making applications in respect of relative displacement
  Advising clients on consent issues
• Bringing Judicial Review proceedings 
• Analysing and evaluating psychiatric reports and social circumstances reports
• Court of Protection applications
• Community treatment orders

Qualifications for this Mental Health Solicitor vacancy:

• Qualified Solicitor of England & Wales with a minimum of 5 years experience in Mental Health
• Mental Health Scheme Accreditation
