Title: Trainee Solicitor – Housing Disrepair
Location: Manchester (Office Based)
An expanding law firm is looking to recruit a Trainee Solicitor to join its growing Housing Disrepair team in Manchester. This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious litigation professional looking to secure a clear route to qualification while gaining hands-on experience within a busy and supportive team.
The Opportunity
You will work alongside experienced housing disrepair litigators, assisting with a varied caseload of claims from inception through to conclusion. You will gain exposure to every stage of the litigation process, including drafting legal documents, preparing witness statements, reviewing evidence, liaising with counsel and progressing claims through the courts. From day one, you will receive structured training, ongoing supervision and the opportunity to develop the technical and practical skills required to qualify as a Solicitor.
About You
You will have previous experience within housing disrepair litigation, ideally with at least 12 months’ fee earning or litigation experience. You will be organised, proactive and eager to build a long-term career in litigation. Strong communication skills, attention to detail and a genuine desire to learn are essential.
