Large commercial law firm in London is seeking to recruit a a Real Estate Finance lawyer of 1 or more years’ PQE. The team acts on the lender side for major banks, debt funds, insurers and other financial institutions and borrower side for investors, developers, blue chip property companies and family offices on domestic and cross-border real estate finance transactions across all real estate asset classes. The successful candidate will be work closely with the Partners and other team members and will have the opportunity to undertake a variety of finance work including development finance, hotel finance, Islamic finance and mezzanine finance transactions in sectors such as hotels and leisure, PRS, student accommodation, logistics and offices. The firm has a strong reputation for providing Associates with a supportive but equally dynamic environment and so anyone taking up this role can expect to have the opportunity to make a significant contribution to growing the business. All of their Associates are encouraged to actively participate in business development opportunities.
Applicants will have strong technical knowledge of the legal framework surrounding finance transactions generally as well as strong document drafting skills. Previous experience of working on Real Estate Finance transactions is a pre-requisite.
