Public Commercial Law Associate NEW

Our client, a leading international law firm, is looking for Associates to join its Public Commercial Law practice in Berlin.

The practice:

The team focuses on large projects and transactions involving the state, and on sectors subject to specific government regulation, such as infrastructure, defence, healthcare, telecommunications, energy and transport. It advises and represents German and international companies, as well as public-sector bodies on all aspects of German and EU public commercial law.

Key areas of work include:

• Advising private companies operating in regulated markets
• Infrastructure projects such as fibre-optic networks, data centres and transport infrastructure
• State investments in, and support for, systemically important companies
• The delivery and financing of public projects, for example in digitalisation, defence and climate change
• Transactions and restructurings in the sectors above.

Practice areas:

• EU law
• Public commercial law
• Constitutional and administrative law
• Healthcare and product law
• Telecommunications law
• Public procurement and state aid law.

The role suits newly qualified Lawyers as well as Associates with one or more years of experience in public commercial law.
