Our client, a well-established Legal 500 and Chambers-ranked law firm, is seeking a Private Client Paralegal to join its highly regarded team in Wokingham. This opportunity has arisen as part of the firm’s long-term succession planning, making it an excellent role for someone looking to build a successful career in Private Client law.

The Role

Working alongside a team of eight experienced Private Client fee earners, you will manage straightforward probate matters with minimal supervision while assisting on a broad range of high-quality Private Client work.

Your caseload will include:

• Estate administration
• Probate matters
• Will drafting and reviews
• Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
• Trust creation and administration
• Court of Protection matters
• Inheritance Tax (IHT) planning
• Trust and estate administration
• Estate accounts and tax administration
• Elderly client advice
• Trust and estate disputes (assisting)

About You

• Previous experience working as a Private Client Paralegal or Legal Assistant
• Experience handling straightforward probate files with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of wills, probate, LPAs and estate administration
• Excellent organisational and client care skills
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage a varied workload
• A genuine interest in developing a long-term career in Private Client law
