East Sussex | Part-Time (28-35 Hours) Hybrid Working available

A respected regional law firm is seeking an experienced Private Client Legal Assistant to join its established team in East Sussex.

Supporting fee earners across wills, probate, trusts, powers of attorney, and estate administration matters, you’ll provide high-quality administrative and client support in a busy, professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Audio typing and legal document production
• Preparing correspondence and client engagement documents
• Managing files from opening through to archiving
• Liaising with clients and third parties by phone and email
• Diary management and appointment coordination
• Billing, payments, and financial administration
• Maintaining wills, trust, and powers of attorney records
• Conducting Land Registry and Companies House searches

About You

• Previous Private Client Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary experience is essential
• Fast and accurate audio typing skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Strong IT and communication abilities
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional, proactive, and adaptable approach

The Package

• £27,000-£31,000 FTE, dependent on experience
• Part-time hours (28-35 per week)
