Insurance Associate/Senior Associate NEW

An internationally established law firm is looking to strengthen its Insurance Law practice across its German offices and is seeking an experienced Lawyer to join its growing team. The position is available on a full-time or part-time basis and offers the opportunity to work on complex domestic and international insurance and liability matters.

The team advises national and international clients across a broad range of insurance and liability law matters, with a particular focus on industrial insurance, including technical insurance, product liability insurance and trade credit insurance. Its work includes both contentious and non-contentious matters, advising clients on the enforcement of insurance coverage claims and the defence of payment and liability claims. The practice also has expertise in insurance regulatory law and handles complex insurance disputes. Its clients include domestic and international businesses, architects, property developers and public-sector organisations.

Your Profile:

• Relevant professional experience in insurance law, with a strong interest in complex insurance coverage, liability and contentious matters.
• Excellent academic results in both German State Examinations in Law.
• A flexible, goal-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset, combined with strong analytical and commercial skills.
• Excellent communication skills, a high level of commitment and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken.
• Ideally, experience with international or cross-border matters gained through academic studies or professional practice.
• A doctorate and/or an LL. would be advantageous, but is not essential.
• A collaborative, team-oriented approach and the ambition to take the next step in your career.
