THE ROLE
We have been instructed on a vacancy for a qualified lawyer (2-4 PQE) to join a leading Financial Services Regulatory team.
The role will focus on non-contentious advisory work for investment managers and funds, providing practical, commercial guidance on UK and EU regulatory issues and supporting clients on cross-border matters.
Duties will include:-
Advising on the FCA Handbook,
Interpreting and applying MiFID II and AIFMD, including distribution, marketing and disclosure requirements.
Preparing and reviewing documentation.
Advising on SMCR governance, conduct and fitness & propriety issues, including training and briefing senior management.
Providing transactional regulatory support
Working closely with colleagues in London and overseas.
The role offers early responsibility, direct partner exposure and a high calibre client base in the investment management sector.
THE CANDIDATE
You will have 2-4 PQE gained working in a leading financial services regulatory practice
Strong working knowledge of the FCA/PRA regimes, FSMA, MiFID II, AIFMD and related UK/EU regulations
You will be ready to make a career move to a highly rewarding and challenging international role
