Our leading UK law firm client is keen to hire an experienced legal Credit Controller on an initial 12 month fixed-term contract. Due to additional workloads, the firm require a Credit Controller who can provide all round debt management to some of the firm’s largest and most prestigious clients across property and residential conveyancing.

Credit Controller Key Responsibilities:
Chasing outstanding invoices by letter, phone, and email in-line with agreed credit control proceduresCirculating received correspondence to update relevant partnersKeeping record of credit control notes and ensuring they are dealt with on a timely basisAttending regular review meetings with the respective partnersWorking in collaboration with the debt collection team on any legal action needing to be taken as requiredReconciling of payments received and investigating any errors occurredFacilitating credit card payments for invoices where applicable
Credit Controller Skills & Requirements:
Previous legal credit control experience, ideally within a law firmStrong knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules and VATStrong IT skills including Excel, Word, PowerPointExperience using recognised legal credit management softwareExcellent analytical and financial skills with good attention to detail both personally and for the teamCan do attitude, with good judgement, communication and relationship building skills, developed in a partnership environment
