A leading and expanding Devon law firm is seeking to recruit an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join its busy and growing Residential Property team. This opening is driven by increased demand for conveyancing services across multiple Devon offices.

This opportunity is ideal for Solicitors, Chartered Legal Executives (CILEx), Licensed Conveyancers and experienced Conveyancing Fee Earners looking to progress their career within a supportive and forward-thinking law firm.

Residential Conveyancer Role Overview

As a Residential Property Conveyancer, you will manage a varied and high-volume caseload of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion. Matters will include:

• Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
• Buy-to-let and residential investment transactions
• Remortgages and refinancing work
• New build conveyancing
• Transfers of equity and joint ownership matters
• Probate-related property sales
• Matrimonial property transactions
• Help to Buy and Shared Ownership schemes

You will liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other solicitors to ensure smooth and efficient progression of files.

Candidate Requirements 

To be considered for this Residential Conveyancer role, you should have:

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in residential conveyancing
• Proven ability to manage a full conveyancing caseload independently
• Experience handling files from instruction to completion
• Strong client care and communication skills
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail

Formal qualifications are not essential. Applications are welcomed from both qualified lawyers and experienced unqualified conveyancers with relevant expertise.
