The role

As a Construction Solicitor in Glasgow, you’ll support all stages of construction projects, working closely with other teams across the firm. Day to day, this includes:

• Advising on procurement processes for construction projects
• Preparing contract packages for employer and developer clients
• Negotiating terms of contracts and appointments for contractors and consultants
• Reviewing and negotiating warranty packages for end users and funders
• Providing strategic guidance throughout project delivery
• Liaising directly with a wide variety of clients across sectors

About you

This role would suit a Construction Solicitor who:

• Has circa 2+ years’ PQE with technical drafting capability across construction contracts and appointments
• Communicates confidently and clearly with a range of client types
• Can manage a varied workload while meeting client expectations
• Has an interest in sectors such as renewable energy, infrastructure and real estate
