A well-established, Legal 500 recommended independent law firm is looking to appoint a Senior Associate to join its Commercial Property team in North Hampshire. This is a permanent role offering City-quality real estate work, genuine autonomy and a realistic path to Legal Director, all without the daily journey into London.
The team is sizeable and growing, having strengthened its senior bench over the past year. Its clients range from developers, landowners and property investors to funders, occupiers and owner-managed businesses, with deals regularly running into eight figures and particular depth in residential development, retail and leisure property.
The role:
You will run your own substantial caseload with a light touch from the Partners, work alongside them on the larger and more complex deals, and play an active part in bringing on the junior Lawyers in the team.
Your work will include:
The candidate:
The firm would like to hear from Solicitors qualified in England and Wales with around five to eight years’ PQE, although more senior Lawyers will also be considered. You are likely to bring:
Exposure to development and option agreements, real estate finance, or work for property funds and developers would be welcome, as would an existing client network.
The opportunity:
This is a chance to handle substantial, high-value work in a team that is investing in its future, with a clear route to Legal Director at a firm that has a track record of promoting its own people into the Partnership. The package comprises a competitive salary and a bonus scheme reflecting both individual and team performance, alongside pension, life assurance, 26 days’ holiday and an active social calendar.
The office is well placed for Lawyers living across Winchester, Newbury, Reading, Farnborough and the wider M3 corridor.
For a confidential discussion about the role and the firm, please get in touch with James Wheelhouse, Associate Director.
