The team is home to several lawyers recognised in both Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners, acting on complex, high-value inheritance, trust and estate disputes for clients across the UK. Despite its boutique size, the firm competes with much larger national and international practices for the quality of its work, regularly handling multi-million-pound claims, contentious trust matters and high-profile estate disputes.
This role will suit a solicitor with at least 4 years’ PQE+ who is confident managing their own caseload of contentious probate matters and looking to work alongside genuine specialists in the field. You will be involved in a broad range of disputes including Inheritance Act claims, challenges to the validity of wills, trust disputes, proprietary estoppel claims and executor or trustee disputes.
One of the standout attractions of this opportunity is the flexibility on offer. The firm operates on a fully remote basis, allowing lawyers to work from anywhere in the UK while remaining closely connected to a collaborative and highly experienced team. There is also no expectation to spend time in an office unless you choose to do so.
For ambitious lawyers, the progression prospects are exceptional. Unlike many larger firms where advancement can be restricted by structure, this role offers genuine merit-based progression with no ceiling on career development. Whether your ambition is to become a leading specialist, develop a team around you or ultimately move towards partnership, the platform is in place to support those goals.
This is an opportunity to combine the quality of work typically associated with a top-tier private client disputes practice with the flexibility of remote working and the autonomy of a specialist boutique environment.
The firm offers a highly competitive salary, an attractive benefits package and, most importantly, the chance to build your career alongside some of the best-known practitioners in the contentious probate market.
