Private Client Associate Solicitor 3-6PQE NEW

The Opportunity

Our client is looking for an ambitious solicitor to join their Private Client team in their Kingston office. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years’ PQE in the non-contentious Private Client area of law and should be a self-starter, highly motivated and demonstrate experience of a wide range of private client work, with a keen desire to develop their knowledge and practice.

The role would suit both an Associate looking to progress their career to Senior Associate or a Senior Associate would also be considered for the position.

The successful candidate will also be expected to have an entrepreneurial spirit to develop and maintain excellent relationships with both clients and with other professionals.

Our client handles varied and high-quality work to include:

• advising on and drafting wills;
• estate and inheritance tax planning advice;
• the administration of estates of varying degrees of complexity;
• the creation, administration and taxation of trusts;
• cross-border advice;
• inheritance tax, capital gains tax and income tax advice in relation to trusts and estates;
• advising on mental capacity issues and Lasting Powers of Attorney.

The client base is extremely varied, including high net worth individuals, international clients and UK based clients.

The Candidate       

• At least 3 years’ PQE in non-contentious private client work.
• Strong academics.
• Excellent opportunity for career progression.
• An Associate or Senior Associate may apply.
• Agile Working Policy of 60/40 split in the office and at home each month.
