An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Legal Counsel to join the headquarters of a rapidly expanding international consultancy in the North West. Working as part of a growing legal team, you will advise on a wide range of commercial, construction and engineering matters while partnering closely with key stakeholders across the business.

Description

The Legal Counsel will be:

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts.
• Advising on construction, engineering and consultancy agreements across multiple business units.
• Supporting project teams on contractual risk management and dispute avoidance.
• Providing pragmatic legal advice to stakeholders across the organisation.
• Working closely with senior management to support strategic business objectives and ongoing growth initiatives.

Profile

The Legal Counsel should be:

• A solicitor or equivalent with 5+ years’ PQE.
• Experienced in negotiating and advising on commercial contracts.
• Possess strong knowledge of construction, engineering and/or consultancy agreements.
• Commercially minded with the ability to provide practical, solutions-focused advice.
• Comfortable working directly with senior stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous in-house experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
