The Team
The conveyancing team handles a broad range of residential property matters, providing clients with an exceptional level of service from instruction through to post-completion. The department works with individual clients, developers, and lenders on all aspects of sales, purchases, remortgages, and plot transactions.
The Role
As a Conveyancing Assistant, you will support fee earners throughout the entire conveyancing process, ensuring matters are progressed efficiently and accurately. Your key responsibilities will include:
Assisting with files from initial quotation through to post-completion
Preparing and drafting documentation, correspondence, and contracts
Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and lenders
Managing searches, Land Registry applications, and completion statements
Providing high-quality administrative and client support to the conveyancing team
Requirements
At least 6 months’ experience working as a Legal Assistant within a conveyancing team
Knowledge of the full conveyancing process from instruction to completion
Plot sales experience is desirable but not essential
Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
Ability to work proactively and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
Comfortable working predominantly office-based
