Highly-regarded commercial offshore law firm in the Cayman Islands is seeking to recruit an Investment Funds lawyer of 3 or more years’ PQE. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team advising leading investment managers, fund administrators, and institutional clients on a broad range of fund structures and regulatory matters.
Key responsibilities include:
• Advising on the formation, structuring, and operation of investment funds, including hedge funds, private equity funds, and other alternative investment vehicles;
• Drafting and reviewing fund documentation, including offering memoranda, subscription agreements, and service provider contracts;
• Providing guidance on Cayman Islands regulatory and compliance requirements, including AML, FATCA/CRS, and CIMA filings;
• Liaising with clients, regulators, and service providers to ensure smooth fund operations and compliance;
• Supporting senior team members in business development and client relationship management.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Qualified lawyer with post-qualification experience from a Commonwealth jurisdiction, ideally gained in a top-tier law firm or financial services environment;
• Strong understanding of Cayman Islands funds law and regulatory framework;
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills;
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
• Team-oriented with a proactive and client-focused approach.
