If you’re an experienced Private Client Solicitor looking for more autonomy and a genuinely varied caseload, this is an opportunity to step into a Senior Associate‑level role within a growing Scottish private client practice. Based in Glasgow, the role offers direct client contact, responsibility for your own work and the chance to continue developing expertise across a broad range of private client matters.

The Role

You’ll advise clients on a wide range of private client matters, including wills, Powers of Attorney, succession planning, inheritance tax and executry administration. You’ll manage your own caseload, ensuring matters are progressed efficiently and key deadlines are met.

The role also involves handling trusts and Adults with Incapacity applications, drafting and reviewing legal documentation, undertaking legal research and liaising closely with clients. There will be opportunities to support and guide junior colleagues as part of the wider team.

About You

This role would suit a Private Client Senior Associate who:

• Has solid private client experience
• Is confident managing files independently while contributing to a team environment
• Has experience in wills, executries, trusts and Powers of Attorney
• Is detail‑focused, organised and proactive
• Communicates clearly with clients and colleagues
• Is comfortable handling sensitive and varied matters
• Holds, or is working towards, a STEP qualification (welcomed but not essential)
