Description
The Sustainability Paralegal will be staffed on multiple transactions from inception to completion, supporting investment funds and corporate matters with a sustainability focus.
Key responsibilities include drafting SFDR pre‑contractual and website disclosures, conducting sustainability due diligence as part of M&A processes, maintaining deal trackers, managing documentation, and researching regulatory developments.
The role also involves assisting with investor sustainability queries, preparing presentations on EU Taxonomy alignment, and contributing to knowhow materials. Paralegals are fully integrated into deal teams and attend group training and meetings.
Profile
Candidates should hold a recognised law degree or GDL and demonstrate strong organisational, analytical and interpersonal skills.
Prior legal or transactional experience is advantageous but not essential; candidates with experience in deal execution teams are particularly encouraged.
You should be proactive, adaptable, comfortable working to deadlines, and willing to work extended hours when required.
