This is an opportunity for a Personal Injury Solicitor at Associate level to join a well-established litigation team in Glasgow, handling a varied mix of Employer’s Liability, Public Liability and Medical Negligence work. The role offers breadth, quality and progression, with support from experienced partners and exposure to complex and meaningful cases.

The role
You’ll manage a mixed caseload of personal injury litigation, including employer’s liability and public liability claims arising from workplace and public-space accidents, alongside medical negligence matters. The work will range from investigating liability and causation to progressing claims involving expert medical evidence and sensitive client circumstances.

You’ll draft pleadings and court documents, raise and manage court actions where appropriate, and lead settlement negotiations. For higher-value or complex cases, you’ll work closely with partners and counsel on strategic planning and preparation, while still being trusted to run your own files with a good level of autonomy.

About you
This role would suit a Personal Injury Solicitor who:

• Is qualified with solid post-qualification experience in personal injury litigation
• Has experience in EL/PL work, with exposure to medical negligence or a genuine interest in developing in this area
• Is confident managing cases independently from instruction to resolution
• Produces clear, accurate drafting and applies strong analytical skills
• Communicates effectively with clients, showing professionalism and empathy
• Is organised, proactive and commercially aware
• Is comfortable working collaboratively within a team environment
