Patent Paralegal

The role will see you working closely with Patent Attorneys to support a varied and high quality client portfolio. You will play a key part in managing patent processes, ensuring deadlines are met and maintaining accuracy across all work. Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting attorneys across the full patent lifecycle
• Monitoring and maintaining deadlines using IP management systems
• Preparing and filing patent applications and associated documentation
• Liaising with clients, foreign associates and official bodies
• Updating and maintaining records within patent databases such as Inprotech or similar
• Handling correspondence and document management tasks efficiently
• Ensuring accuracy and compliance across all processes and procedures
• Supporting the wider team with administrative and portfolio management tasks

Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a Patent Paralegal role
• Completion of the Introductory Patent Paralegal Course (IPPC) or working towards it
• Strong understanding of patent processes and procedures
• Experience using Inprotech or similar IP management systems
• Familiarity with document management systems
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Confident communication skills and a proactive, can-do attitude
• High level of attention to detail and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
